One of the tools I use a lot was invented by Sir Isaac Newton. It is a color wheel. Although I have an intuitive knack for picking colors, a color wheel is helpful to have a round when you are not just sure. Perhaps you have challenges with color combos. Nothing to be ashamed of. When I worked as a custom framer some of my fellow framers had challenges picking colors for matting. Especially if the art consisted of odd colors like purple or orange. Knowing how to use a color wheel will help you get unstuck when it comes to choosing.
