Again with the poetry…..boy can I spend a long time on a few words. I will say that, although I have dabbled in poetry in the past, have even published one in an anthology and several others in school newsletters, I have not written much of them . Recently, I have been inspired and encouraged to try my hand. This poem is one of the results. Hope you enjoy.

Almost knew you
it was oh so near
we could have met
eyes could have burned
a breath earlier dear
souls could have sang
for want of a turn
