Earthquake In Nepal
On Satuday a 7.8 earthquake hit Nepal, near Kathmandu. At least 3,617 people are now known to have died and more than 6,500 people have been injured, according to the National Emergency Operation Center. Many of the villages near the mountainsides are said to have been hit hard with some villages completely covered with rock fall.
On Mount Everest, 18 climbers hare dead and many more injured when a large avalanche hit after the quake.
I tell you my heart goes out to those in Nepal who have lost loved ones, lost their homes and lost their livelihoods. I pray for those who have missing family members, whether in the villages City Center or on Everest, that you find those missing member(s) alive and well, and if not you ,at least get that answer.
