MOMMA BLACK BEAR IN YELLOWSTONE SCARES THE HECK OUT OF TOURISTS
A mother Black Bear with cubs scare the heck out of tourists who crowd her while she was trying to cross a bridge. The experts ( I don’t who these experts are) say that the cubs were over a year old. The cubs will hang out with mom for the first year or so learning how to bear. If the cubs were younger, the tourists would have been in much more danger.  I guess the danger was worth that awesome picture, eh?

JOHNNY DEPP’S DOGS GET DEATH THREAT FROM AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT

It seems that Australia has  very strict rules about bringing animals into its country. It may be because it has such unusual animals that are found only on Australia and some of those animals have already been threaten by other critters that have been brought in. Or something like that. Anyway it seems that Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce has accused Johnny Depp of smuggling in his beloved Yorkshire Terriers, Pistol and Boo, in his private plane.  To bring a pet in, owners must apply for a permit and submit to a 10-day quarantine period upon arrival.  The doggies were discovered when their handlers brought them in for a grooming. Now he has to bring em home or it’s the death penalty for the two puppies.

BIG ROUND FISH IS FIRST WARM BLOODED FISH EVER FOUND

Fishies are usually the cold blooded denizens of the world oceans. They rely on their environments to maintain their body temperatures . That is why there are tropical fish and cold water fish and the two don’t mix much.  This fish however seems to make its own heat. that would make it faster swimmer, better at seeing and much better response times. this fish is called the Opah or Moon fish and it is a big  (can grow up to 6 feet) round fish with little, red, fins.  Those little red fins , flapping constantly, is what the experts say produces the heat.

ROMNEY/ HOLYFIELD FIGHT OF THE CENTURY
O
k not really, not the fight of the century but it is a boxing match for Charity. Mitt Romney, the former presidential candidate and Holyfield, heavyweight champion boxer, we will face off in Salt Lake They will be in full protective gear, can’t have either one being all hurt and stuff. The event will benefit CharityVision which helps doctors in developing countries restore vision to  people. Personally if I could afford to go tot he black tie event I would, it sounds hilarious.
