Weight Loss and Loans

I am still going through the whole buying a house loan ordeal. Good Lord I had no idea that it would take such mounds of paper in order to get this done. I can’t complain too much. God has been good to me and I should quit whining and be grateful. But I cant even tell you the river of paper that has flowed over the phones lines and the interwebs between me and the loan lady. By the Way, the loan lady has been a saint for sure. Yet still, does it ever stop?

So how does all this affect me weight wise. I honestly can tell you that I haven’t been worried about walking, what I am eating anything. Haven’t thought of it at all.  So I used to have this theory that the more you think about the foods you eat, the more likely you are to gain weight. I guess I thought that the more you thought about food, the more it consumes you and if you think of only eating  good stuff and then you  eat more of the bad foods. What? Yea, You eat more of the bad foods because, they are bad and if you have a little you might as well have a lot.  All this because you spend too much time thinking about food and it becomes your friend and enemy.

My other theory was that if you just eat less of the foods then you would lose weight. You can eat anything but have one piece of pizza instead of, like, six pieces.  Like that is going to happen.   Yet this is one of my theories. It seems sound. Less calories in, the more weight, you lose. Ok this isn’t as sound as it seems. I mean you can eat cake and have one piece three times a day and you are still consuming too many calories.  So you really should eat less, but of better foods.  Cake, candy, fat foods not soo goodly.

Yet both of those things didn’t seem to make a difference yet. I have not lost weight, I have not gained weight, I am the same. You would think, the stress of this whole house buying would help me to lose weight.  Haven’t lost an ounce since this whole process started two months ago. I haven’t gained an ounce either.  Who knows what is right. Personally, I think that for me it is not what I eat but how much I move.

The best thing about my soon to be new house is the fact that it is a country club type setting. Because of that, I have access to a full gym, a couple of pools and couple of walking paths. Not to mention, the have on site exercise people. Oh yea, Personal trainers is what the call them. So, hopefully, I can get moving in a way I have not before. Then maybe I can just quit with the whole theories exercise. Maybe then I can also get back to regular posting
