Rainbows

So this here poem was originally published in 1999 (goodness that is certainly a long time ago) in an anthology called The Mystical Night, under the pen name TL Whitaker. Although some of it has been revised for this blog post it is pretty much the same as when originally publish. Hope you enjoy.

Rainbows
Do you remember when you and I
shot rainbows from the sky?
We were invincible, we’d never die!
When we shot  rainbows from the sky.

Do you remember when you kissed me,
I got scared,tried to flee?
down I fell, you kissed my knee
When I got scared ,tried to flee.

Do you remember when we became one,
Out there, Under the sun?
Oh how happy as one
When we were there , under the sun.

Do you remember when you and I
Shot rainbows from the sky?
We were invincible, we’d never die
When we shot rainbows from the sky.
