CDC SAYS YOUR PET CHICKEN CAN MAKE YOU SICK

We all know that there are dog people, and there are cat people, but you may not know that there are chicken people as well.   Like dog and cat people, Chicken people love to hug and kiss and snuggle with their chickens.  Yet that affection with your chicken can make you sick  The CDC reported that this year, more than 180 people have contracted salmonella in the U.S. from contact with backyard poultry. Chickens don’t look dirty, but they do carry bacteria and are definite carriers of Salmonella. They carry Salmonella in their digestive tracts, and it comes out in their poop. From there, t it gets everywhere, cages, coops, feed and water dishes, as well as hay, plants and soil i where the birds live.  So if you have a pet chicken , No Kissing!

CAT SURVIVES 28 MILE RIDE STUCK IN TRUCK ENGINE

The orange and white kitten adopted on June 13 started its tale in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. There the brave cat climbed up into a truck engine where the driver, unaware that he had a passenger, started up his truck and drove 28 miles to the Mars Chocolate North America plant in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Employees at the plant heard the cat’s cries and was rescued by the employees and the city  public works dept. The cat was unharmed and named, what else, but Mars.

HUGE FISH FOUND IN DRAINAGE DITCH

Man out talking a walk called the Olathe, Kansas animal control saying there was a four foot fish in a drainage ditch. Officer Jamie Schmidt says that she, of course, did not believe the man. There are fish tales and then there are fish tales. This time though it was the truth. It was a huge  grass carp, coming in at 3.5 feet and weighing 60 pounds. While a large fish it wa not the record  for a grass carp. that comes in at 77.7 pounds.  it’s believed it swam up the drainage ditch during recent flooding.

LA ROBBER RECORDS VIDEO SELFIE WITH VICTIM’S PHONE.

And now a story from the DUH file. I burglar entered a home in the Venice area  of Los Angeles and He found and picked the Victim’s cell phone. He accidentally hit the record button and managed to record himself in her living The Woman and two teenage girls were asleep at the time and remained unharmed. The owner of the pone was able to access it remotely and saw the  video. The police  say they don’t have name but they know what he looks like.  Police have released the video hoping for someone to put a name to the face.
