ELEPHANT BORROWS GOPRO AND TAKES ELPHIE WITH TOURIST
Christian LeBlanc was in Thailand with his girlfriend. Exploring one of the Islands when they came across some elephants where for 50 cents they could buy a basket of bananas to feed to the elephants. They were on vacation, so of course, they bought the Bananas. Things were going along nicely when one of the elephants decided to make Christian’s vacation awesome. The elephant grabbed Christian’s GoPro and took this great selfie. Christian believes they elephant knew exactly what it was doing, “Elephants are incredibly intelligent, and it definitely makes you wonder if it was a conscious action,” he said. Who knows , either way it is a great Elphie.
TACO BELL/PIZZA HUT IS NIXING THE ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS AND COLORING.
I have to admit here that I never understand the use of artificial flavor and coloring in fast food, but it seems that. finally, at least one fast food chain is getting rid of them. Yum Brands, the owner of Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, is officially removing the artificial flavors, coloring and additives such as trans fats. This is good news for our bodies according to many nutritionists and it is a great move for Yum brands. They removal of such artificial flavors such as Black Pepper flavoring, (to be replaced by actual black pepper) is expected to be complete by 2017. The move to healthier ingredients will impact 95% of its core food items.

SWANKY STANDARD HOTEL IN MANHATTAN TURNS AWAY SAILOR, DURING FLEET WEEK.
The Standard Hotel finds itself apologizing for turning away a sailor during fleet week. The sailor,who wishes to remain anonymous, was in full service uniform was stopped by the bouncer and told that her uniform was not good enough for the club. The club had a “dress code”. The entire party was dressed well and the only person who was a bit different was the sailor. The hotel apologized and said that the dress code that was enforced by the bouncer for the Top of the Standard Club should not have applied to our men and woman in the service. The Standard did invite the group back and said it would ensure the sailor’s and her companions satisfaction.
THE USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL IN PEARL HARBOR, HAWAI’I SUSPENDED AFTER USS MERCY HITS IT.
The Navy Hospital ship the USNS Mercy was maneuvering in the harbor with the help of a civilian tugboat when either the Mercy or the tugboat hit the USNS Arizona Memorial damaging it. Abby Wines, spokesperson for the memorial, says that the handrails and the ramp were mangled rendering it unsafe for tourists. Those tourists are being shipped out to a safe place in the harbor where they can view the Arizona, Navy and park service divers would be assessing the damage and the memorial is expected to be closed for several days if not longer.
